Delhi factory fire: Fireman saves 11 people trapped in building

Delhi Fire Service personnel Rajesh Shukla saved 11 people who were trapped in the fire blazing a building in Anaj Mandi area on Sunday morning. Shukla injured his legs in the rescue operation and is recuperating in LNJP Hospital. Nearly 150 fire personnel carried out the rescue operation pulling out 63 people from the building. The fire resulted in 43 deaths.

Rajasthan: 6-year-old girl abducted, raped & killed

A six-year-old was kidnapped and allegedly raped then murdered in Tonk district’s Aligarh police station area. The girl had gone missing on Saturday afternoon and her body was found on Sunday morning behind some bushes. Cops are looking for the accused who have not been identified. The girl child was strangled with her own school belt found around her neck.

RBI expected to cut rates on December 5

Hyd erupts, thousands lay siege to police station

Anger erupted on the streets of Hyderabad as people held protests demanding justice for the family of the veterinary doctor who was gang-raped and murdered on the outskirts of the city on Wednesday. Govt to spend Rs 100L cr on infra projects: FM

The government will frontload investments under its five-year plan to spend Rs 100 lakh crore on infrastructure by announcing investments in 10 projects by December 15, said finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The Centre will also work towards bringing down Goods and Services Tax (GST) to the minimum level on all essential goods and rationalise other rates.

London attacker had Pak links, plotted Kashmir hits

The 28-year-old Briton who killed two people in a stabbing spree on London Bridge on Friday has been identified as Usman Khan, a UK-born terrorist who was jailed in 2012 over a plot to bomb the London Stock Exchange and plans to build a terror camp in PoK to attack Kashmir. He left school in the UK with no credentials and is believed to have spent part of his teens in Pakistan.
